Title: Shark Hunter
Post by: dronspa on October 31, 2011, 07:39:06 PM
According to Rene's website, it seems that he has the "original" prototype of this game...

Does it means this should be a Jopac release in te 80's?

Jopac games are the only ones with grey cartridge, isn't it?

We have no idea if Shark Hunter was supposed to be jopac, just because its in a grey case dosen't mean it was destined for Jopac release. Its very easy to put a VP pcb in any case jopac, siera, radiola etc. But Rene does own the prototype  :-\

Yes !
I think that all the games were manufactured in the same french factory. So sometimes, when a production of games was ended and a new production was started, the  production line had some mistakes for colors of plastic cases, labels and PCB. And a person at the end of the production line must verify the quality. That's the reason why I have some games labeled Radiola on the front but a Philips label on the back, and vice-versa. I've games from Philips in a Jopac's grey plastic case ...

Since there is only a french name on the label (Requins), I think it really was going to be a Jopac game.

I've never ever seen a game written by GST for the Jopac, I really would like to see evidence of this.  ;:)
