Title: A new use for video game consoles
Post by: Chris! on January 22, 2015, 04:58:34 PM
A few days ago I woke up with an idea: Why not make animation with retro video game consoles? I chose the Atari 2600 because of batari Basic, but any retro console would do. The Odyssey 2 wouldn't have been a choice, though, because I wanted to have music in it. I'm currently making an animated short based on the Mr. Celery character from my "The 50-Foot-Tall Stalk of Celery" Odyssey 2 game. So what it is is just basically one really long cut-scene with no controlling anything. If you have an Atari 2600 emulator, or even a Harmony cart, please take a look at what I have so far (about 50 seconds' worth) and tell me what you think.

Yeah! Working now. Feedback when I get a chance to look at this.
