Title: emulation on linux 64 bits Post by: philippe.ventrillon on April 03, 2016, 03:28:56 PM Hello,
I had some troubles getting a working videopac/odyssey 2 emulator on Ubuntu 15.10 64bits. Here is how I succedded http://emulvideopac.blogspot.fr/2016/04/64bits-linux-and-odyssey-2-emulation.html (http://emulvideopac.blogspot.fr/2016/04/64bits-linux-and-odyssey-2-emulation.html). The blog is also available in french http://emulvideopac.blogspot.fr/2016/03/linux-64-bits-et-emulation-videopac.html (http://emulvideopac.blogspot.fr/2016/03/linux-64-bits-et-emulation-videopac.html) I used Montjoie's o2em2 and I say "thank you" to him for this o2em fork. I succeed compilingo2em118src on ubuntu 14.04 64 bits. I add no problem except a missing include file in score.c (like you did in your old post I found later ...). The problems I had was: - incomplete/incorrect documentation about roms and bios path arguments - total mess with bios CRC check: I finally force the o2flag to 1 in identify_bios() After that, I was able to start it and play the "Glouton et voraces" (K.C. Munchkin!) game. I am not sure to understand the problem you add with allegro: when I check the allegro installed version, it looks to be liballeg.so.4.4.2 on ubuntu 14.4 too:
