Title: O2EM vs. real hardware: Randomness
Post by: Chris! on April 26, 2016, 03:42:52 AM
Have been playing around with Odyssey 2 programming. Can't think of anything for Lowercase I. So I tried my luck programming random stuff upon startup without user input for a key. I have discovered that real hardware is much more capable of producing random values than O2EM. In fact, while O2EM does the same exact thing over and over again, on real hardware, the same exact program does only one thing the same: The first go around. Everything else is different when you power it off and turn it back on again. Anyone know why this is?

In O2em all registers are set to 0 at startup, but not on real hardware.
