Title: G7200 looking for contrast button (original or printed)
Post by: S_W on November 07, 2019, 11:52:58 PM
Hi there,
I am looking for the contrast adjustment button for the videopac g7200.
The original would be the best, but a 3D print, or even the plan are welcome.
If you have it in stock, you can help and save a videopac! :)
Thank you for your help

If someone has the dimensions and a picture from all sides I can probably easily create one in Max and print it.

My G7200 is also missing this, I'm waiting on my new micrometer arriving (and free time, a rare commodity these days) to take some measurements before I create a model.
But I'll have to, ideally, get (as above) lots of photos from all angles to maker it accurate.

Of course, if someone beats me to making one all the better  :P

If, and when, the stars finally align and I make a model, I'll be sure to pop back on here with it.

If you create a 3d file (eg using Tinkercad.com), I can print it.

I'll make and print one when I have time

Edit:

I don't know if the "wing" is on the right side and had to eyeball the measurements on the grabber a bit, as well as the crossbar. Also is it possible to connect the "wing" to the center base and it would still function? That would make it a lot easier to print.

You might actually want the files  ;)

https://mega.nz/file/gk5xhIJb#Be2a23U6yuLVmRTLme65wq_VzqhSE1GIDIZZ_DoPaaM

Made a OBJ for easy editing for someone else. And a printable STL version in 2 parts that can be easily glued together. Only thing that really is hard to print I imagine is little claw thing on the end.
If any edits need to be made feel free to ask, and if it fits perfectly show photo's ;D

BTW if it needs to be printed, I have a printer. Might be easier to let it be done locally.

the claw should not be an issue. you might want to print this using nylon filament. using nylon the supports might be a pain to get off if printed in one part.

pla should easily work in one part but the claw miggt break indeed. i think i would split it in two pieces and print with nylon.

I'm not so familiar with printing nylon. Mostly do drone and custom repair stuff, so that means mostly PLA and TPU.

it is pretty straightforward with a heated bed. in case of warping use glue or create a raft with pla
