Yeah. Got it from Nico Sapin about a 1 1/2 years ago. He throw it in for free, because he messed up something with what I bought (I forget). Not a bad deal in my book, even though a proto #31 is not something I'll plug in often (haven't yet). But it is a proto, and the only one I've got.

As for pics, they are a little to big to post here. Should I send pics to the same email address you use for paypal?

The cartridge of the released version of Musician contains an extra chip, does the proto have this (small) extra chip too?

It has the main eprom chip with the '31' written on it. Next to it is a small chip, maybe 1/8 the size, soldered to the board. Is that what you wanted to know?

I'm now going to be writing the Brazillian section of the prototype book over the weekend. I also have some new goodies for the limited edition owners of Robot City. You'll only be able to see these in the prototype book!

For your rumored section:
Pink Panther
Originally planned for the Atari 2600 and Odyssey 2, this platformer would have been the premiere release in Odyssey's short-lived Probe 2000 series of games. Previewed at the 1983 CES, Pink Panther required more ROM than usual, which was usually handled by bank-switching. According to Probe 2000 insiders, however, the first batch of Pink Panther cartridge ROMs were manufactured incorrectly, making bank-switching impossible and rendering the game unplayable. The company never recovered from the financial loss and couldn't afford to have new cartridges produced. Probe 2000 did release one game, War Room for the ColecoVision, and plans for another title (a ColecoVision version of the Odyssey 2 title Power Lords) were deep-sixed along with the rest of the company. One working prototype of Pink Panther exists in the hands of a collector, but the ROM image has never seen the light of day.

Look at the bottom section of the first page: http://www.digitpress.com/library/newsletters/arcadeexpress/arcade_express_v1n13.pdf
Also look at page 5 just underneat the first paragraph.
