This mod looks very professional. As i can see you take the Signals from the connection to the Secam modulator. The 2 ics on the green board are the missing ones from the 7400 rbg mod i assume. But whats the board where the flatcable is going to.
Thanks

The board with the flat cable is the RGB module from a 7200.
But usually I make a complete RGB board (see pic) for a G7000.

Thanks.

Can you Post a Part List for ordering the necessary Parts.

Another Questions about the Diagram. What does that Arrow with +5 or +2 mean ?

Does that mean i have to connetct 5 Volts plus to this Pin ?

Thanks..

On an older version of the C52 I see that they have given this 74LS00 the number 7670.
If there is something wrong with the blanking signal, your TV will also get sync problems.
On my C52, the slot number 7670 is a taken by a 74LS32N...

VideopacBelgium, could you take a photo of where you picked the sync signal on your console board please ? Could you confirm that you sent this signal through an inverter (74LS04N) before sending it to the R733 ?

Sync signal from pin 11 IC 669 to the inverter IC 74LS04, then R733

RGB:
IC653 (74LS08), IC652 (7407), Inverter for L and Sync. (74LS04)
D692, D693, D694, D695, D696, D697 (6x 1N4148),
R746, R747, R748 (3x 1k5), R735, R736, R737 (3x 560E)

Audio:
R738 (470E), R751 (100E according to diagram, but 180E might be better)

Status RGB:
R723 (47E)

Status CVBS:
D698 (1N4148), R749 (1K)

Sync:
TS681 (BC548B),
R733 (4k7), R772 (4k7), R773 (680E), R774 (180E)

Another Questions about the Diagram. What does that Arrow with +5 or +2 mean ?
+5 = +5v
+2 = +12v

Does that mean i have to connetct 5 Volts plus to this Pin ?
Yes

Is this correct, René?

I have tried this mod on a French Videopac that looks a lot like the one VideopacBelgium has (so a C52/02 I guess).
It seems like I have the same issue as VideopacBelgium had regarding the Sync signal (the screen scrolls).
The problem is that I directly used the solution he suggested : I picked the sync signal from pin 11 of the 8048, sent it through an inverter and connected it to the R733... But it's still scrolling.

IC 669 is not the 8048, but a NAND gate (74LS00), so you've connected the sync output to the wrong IC.

Sync signal from pin 11 IC 669 to the inverter IC 74LS04, then R733

So if I understand, you take the sync signal directly from the 8048, not from any other 74LS00 or 74LS04 on the board ? That's why I would love a pic, on the diagram IC669 is 8048, but apparently physically it's not... Is it the purple wire that we can see on you pic named c52b.jpg that goes from pin11 of 8048 to your own inverter ?

It works !!!
Thank you VERY much for your photo VideopacBelgium.
I soldered again the sync part of my mod, and picked the signal on the spot you show (which is also the 14th link between the main board and modulator board) and now it works ! There was definitly a pb with my soldering.

Thanks also to you Gertk and Rene for your help, and to everyone on this thread.

I'm going to post the final diagram that worked for me within the next hour.

THANKS !!!

Here is the diagram. It works like this, but of course it can be optimized. I think everything is on it... (see the attached file, need to be logged in)

Thanks for the Diagram.

What does the Letters mean. For Example on ic652. Are B F D G C H not connected to anything and just Labeled by you or need i to connect them to some corresonding letters.

Thanks

You have to connect spots with the same letters (A1 to A1, A2 to A2, B to B, etc.). They all go by pairs.
Only L1, L2, ..., L14 refer to the "Links" where you have to pick the different signals up (red, green, blue, sync...) on the mother board.

I called "Links" the wires that link the main board to the modulator board, numbered from left to right when you look at the solder side of the board, having the controller sockets on your left.
