I wonder if the box of it would be more interesting, that's probably also why you asked.

We've already had a long conversation about this in ebay elite, but in summary:

The Siera G7000 has a base sticker that says Siera, so this one must have also if it is genuine:
http://www.videopac.com/images/siera_g7000_04.jpg
However, Janzl got a copy of the base sticker from the seller and its a Philips one.

I also think it is interesting that it says "select game", all mine are in French but that's probably because that's where I got them...

Of course, my Siera G7000 box just has stickers:

But I know there is a proper box:

It would be nice to see a box that's for sure, but I now believe this is how the console was distributed based on the two examples now available.

I meant the box of the Siera G7400, I've seen the Siera G7000 box before.

So it is possible if they put stickers on a philips box that they also did a cheap conversion on the consoles?

Well the Siera G7000 just needed a sticker:
http://www.videopac.com/images/siera_g7000_01.jpg

Of course the G7400 had the badges actually printed onto the plastic with the other suppliers, so yes I reckon Siera would have just done the cheap conversion method.

I also think they would have done a completely individual box, like they did for the Siera G7000, that's what I would really like to see a picture of.

Found a other siera g7400. It belongs to dutch console collector Rene van den Enden. I will ask if he can make pictures of the g7400, especially the bottom sticker.

Philips Videopac / Magnavox Odyssey2 FAQ / Cartridge List v0.73
Ik heb van Maurice Simon zijn laatste videopac FAQ mogen ontvangen, je kan hem hier bekijken/downloaden.
Hier volgt de changelog:

Changes in v0.73:
- Added italian C7420
- Changed Videopac 41 "Hegemonie" from Dutch to Belgian. It seems Videopac 41
really was never sold in Holland, but is WAS sold in Belgium.
- Added prototypes:
- Magnavox "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe"
- Parker Brothers "Tutankham" and "Spiderman"
- "Cursus Spaans" ("Spanish Course")
- Melrep
- Added Siera G7400.
- Added more Siera games.
- Added some more Videopac 9 and 31 language variations.
- Added/Rewrote some little things here and there. Nothing major.
- Added Flashpoint+ release by Dieter Koenig.

Maurice hartelijk dank voor deze enorm complete FAQ!

you are right, i did read it wrong  Embarrassed

But found a other person who is talking about a rebranded g7400:

J'aimerai savoir si Radiola et Schneider sont des filiales de Philips ou si les 3 groupes ont d?ja collabor? ensemble. C'est pour savoir si le vg5000 est un v?ritable standard. Pour les videopac c'est la meme chose? Car francois houste avait demont? un siera videopac et c'etait en fait une philips 7400 avec une ?tiquette diff?rente

Hi :-)

still looking for that G7400 pic? I don't have the console handy, I think it's in storage somewhere, but I might have some pics on my harddrive.

Ah, in fact, I only seem to have a close-up of the Siera label.

Thanks!
So it really is just a sticker which is put over the Philips logo.
Do you have a picture of the box of the Siera G7400 as well?

It's actually a bit more than a sticker, it's a little thicker. A plastic badge.
Don't have a box for this one Sad
