does the 7200 show any function without the rgb panel?

Yes, the RGB panel is not required to get a picture on the built-in tube.

do you have eny exprerience is servicing a g7200?

Yes, I have some experience with it. My console had a problem with D502 and R16.

i jus saw these safety resistors mentioned in the manual. do they behave as fuses, so they burn out and the system stops working?

Yes, they do, but that will always be visible from the outside, since they will have turned brown then or even broken in two.

Hello Rene!
thanks for everything.
i would lik to repair the second g7200 today.
accidentally i didn't download the g7200 full manual, and your webpage is out of service, or the file has been removed.
could you please upload it again, so i could now save it as well? Smiley
my fault, i know...

Not your fault, my provider's fault!  Angry

You can find the new scans of the G7200 Service Manual here:

hi!
damn, i can't get on with it.
should the monitor assy - so the tube with the PSU PCB work in a standalone mode, not connected to the game mainboard of the G7200?

I'm not sure. I think it should work, but since the monitor circuits won't get any sync and video signals, and the power supply won't have a load on its 5V output, it might behave differently than normal.

Hi Rene!
thanks.
after a few tries it turned out that the cnx optocoupler was bad. but other problems, like tea1039 and no load / overload made the TEA1011P die.
any suggestion for substitution? in here no part suppliers have this part. and i didn't find pdf doc for it at all.
