Just remembered, Comando Noturno is also a GST game.

Wow, somehow I never noticed that! Interesting that it was only released in Brazil!

Just played the game on the emu. There is no GST logo anywhere. Did anyone mention in an interview that Comando Noturno is by GST? Or is there some hint in the program code?

I think it was removed when the game was released here, but you can see the logo on the prototype and also "SSS"

We can add the GST opening screen to the ROM that we are goind to burn for our release of Night Fighter if you would like that (I'll have to check first).

Just play the "pr_nightfighter.bin" file which is in the .zip file on my homepage, and you'll see the GST intro screen (which is almost empty, so probably unfinished).

In a previous discussion about GST we also found out that Backgammon was written by GST.

(See: http://videopac.nl/forum/index.php?topic=637.15)

Yeah, thanks Rene. I already played the prototype bin, made screenshots and sent them to Graham. Let's see if he remembers the game and if he knows what SSS stands for.

I also asked him about Backgammon. Do we have other proof than the Johnson interview that this game was done by Mick Rouse of GST? I cannot find any infos in the game itself.

Would it be possible that Mick Rouse wrote the game before he joined GST Video?

Possible.

Still, I think we don't have any proof that he really wrote it. We "only" have the Johnson interview. So maybe we can get more information from Graham.

Hi Dieter,

I am sorry but I do not remember either game.
If they were released then it must have been before I joined GST because all
videopac development stopped before I left GST.
Best Wishes,
Graham.

Sad

But maybe I'm in the process of finding someone else of GST Video who might know more. Keep your fingers crossed! Smiley

Nice work Dieter. Now hopefully we can find more info on GT. The programmer or firm that released robot city.
