After my experience with USPS today I can guess where it went missing...

Why, what happened?

This is what I sent my cousin (who sent the package for me):

Quote
USPS must have the worst customer service department in the history of the world, I'd rate them right up there with ebay. The woman couldn't tell me who was delivering the parcel, any contact details, how to claim on the insurance, who to contact for the insurance, or where in the US she was beyond Western US because... wait for it... security reasons!

It gave everyone in the office a good laugh :-) Wish I'd recorded it.

I took a guess on the UK courier it probably ended up with, and got it right! Somehow they marked it as for my next door neighbour, even though she could see it was right on the parcel. It'll be delivered tomorrow.

So POWERLORDS and a BOXED ODYSSEY CONTROLLER should actually turn up today  Smiley

I've been waiting around 6 years for a Sega genesis accessory from America, should I just give up?  Cheesy

Yes it is off topic. Sorry about that Andy....

I am still glad R.C. is out. Still hope it shows up (one way or another). Look forward to other releases as well. Smiley

Hi !
"Robot City" is a UK release with Videopac+ style cover and common plastic box (same as UK's Terrahawks, UK's Killer Bees...).
Why "Robot City" hasn't number 70 like European releases?

This is one of the main reasons I won't be buying these releases, everyone else who has released a game did so as close to the original style as possible with number, front cover and label similar to the original releases - If Robot City had been a homebrew then I wouldn't have had a problem with a completely different look, but that is just my opinion and I'm sure there will be some here who beg to differ!

Yup, I differ. Don't really care how it is released, as long as it is. matching the past is just too much for me. It's 2010, not 198x (just my opinion)

I'd agree with you Ozyr if the videopac was from 2010 but it isn't.................

Hi Videopacbelgium,

Are the indexcarts for 51 and 52 originals? I thought UK "plus" releases came without indexcart... ?

We always stated that the labels would be different. The whole idea behind a new label was to try and fetch something NEW to the videopac rather than being boring and staying with the old styles.

Can't remember ever reading that the labels would be different but like I said I knew some people would beg to differ. Likewise I'm sure that some people will disagree that keeping the labels as original as possible is "boring".

It boils down to differences in opinions. Sime like the old, some like new, some just don't care about it.

Simply put, you can't please everyone.

Got my Robot City Limited Edition today.

The envelope contained the loose cartridge and the prototype book CD.

Is it normal that the Limited Edition doesn't contain a manual and box inlay?
