Because of sometimes excesssive prices at eBay, we collectors want to help each other. In this board we can give tips of interesting items on eBay and people can notify everybody else when they want to bid on something.
The 'eBay elite board' will only be visible for people who apply for eBay elite membership. You can do this by a PM to the administrator (Janzl) and I will make you a member of the group.
Thank you very much and lets help each other out!

Ahhh.... the old ebay elite rules.
1. You had to have an official invite from other E-bay Elite members, if you were deemed to be a series collector that wasn't in it for the profit then you got an invite.
2. You had to report that you were making a BID for an object and once you had reported this no other member could place a bid on that item unless the original bidder had been over bid. You then had to ask the original permission or state that you wanted to take over the bidding.
3. As an E-bay elite member you also could suggest TIPS for other collectors. It was considered good manners to let other members that you were not interesting in these TIPS
4. Richard used to get a profit from each item sold he used to have a link which meant that if an item sold he got paid the idea was that this would keep the website costs down. Hmmmmm this really helped didn't it!!! Personally I though that this was a ball ache and took the Pi$$.
5. A member could get thrown out if they started to bid on another member Ebay auction. Sometimes people would do this for really rare items. Sometimes people would bid on an item without checking ebay Elite first to see if any other members had bid, i will hold my hands up and say that I did this a couple of times. In cases like this you had to stop bidding and let the original bidder continue. An apology and a bit of Ar$e licking also helped
I think that is about it. I have also posted this in the E-bay elite section for other to read!
