It looks like that. But maybe if the characters are blinking, which I can really not see very well they never really would collide. Maybe that's the trick.

Sorry about Brazil by the way  Wink Tongue

I think this program is not really running on an Odyssey2 console or emulator. I think someone has just made something for a different computer or console which looks like the Odyssey2 character set.

After a bit of searching I found the code (with source) at http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=55255. It is Videopac code, but only runs on o2em. On a real machine there is a gap in the top half where the gfx are off and you see the usual distortions when overlapping chars.

Hi guys,

I am one of the authors of the demo. This was shown at Rewired 2010 in Belgium.
I published the sourcecode here: http://github.com/lameiro/odc2-demo/

It runs fine on o2em, but we couldn't test on a real device.
There is also a blog post describing everything: http://jucablues.blogspot.com/2010/07/my-few-last-days-in-europe-were-spent.html

If anybody is interested in attending a demoparty and submit a Videopac demo, please let me know.

It's a very nice demo. Pity that it doesn't work well on a real Odyssey/Videopac console.
