Today I compiled O2EM on my Trendtac mini laptop. This laptop is an Ingenic  MIPS(el) CPU based linux system from China. It was sold in 2008 by Intertoys.
It is the only laptop I can use outdoors in full sunlight, the LED backlight is extreme bright. The picture was taken underneath a parasol with the sun shining bright. Speed is not 100% but usable for testing.

Very nice!

Aren't there any other laptops with LED backlight? More and more TV's do have that, so I would expect it for laptops too, especially because LED backlight consumes less power than CCFL backlight.

Sure, most laptops and monitors nowadays use LED backlight but most of them still have not enough brightness to use outdoors in sunlight. There are special 'sunlight readable' LCD, for example used for navigation/control on sailboats/yachts, they are very expensive though.
Some mobile phones (my old Sharp 'flip-phone') and camera's have sunlight readable LCD's but those are quite small.
The Trendtac is a small and low power device (the CPU consumes 0.5 Watt) and I use it on sunny days outdoor to do some browsing and programming/editing or ssh-ing to a bigger computer indoors.
