My (white) French Radiola VG5000 arrived this weekend! Including two joysticks (9 pin D connector with the red button), joystick interface, cassetterecorder and original box and manual.

The other (black) Philips VG5000 I got from is unfortunately broken  Sad Only the power LED comes on, no picture on screen.
The seller stated in the advert it was functional but since it came without any accessories, not even a power supply, I wonder how he has tested this system... I already responded to him. Too bad..

Response from the seller is: "I did not test it, nor did I state that the computer would work... It was sold 'as is'... "
Hmmm.. If I read 'this object is second hand, can have cosmetic damages but is in working order' I expect it to work..

I have already found out that the Videochip EF(X)9345 is getting very hot (a 'finger-frying' experience) so that is probably the culprit..
Alas, no recommendation for this seller...

From my own experience online, I always ask now if it had been tested and does it work normally. I'm just amazed at how many people think that something that doesn't work or tested can be sold as 'working' in some odd universe.
