The excitement of a game. The mind of a computer.

I set a personal high score last week of 16,460! (give or take a couple points)  It's probably not even half of the highest score but not bad considering I hadn't played it in a couple of months.  I made it to the roof once and then to level 3 before meeting my ultimate demise.  Sad

I still have my high score in a simple text file that dates back to my Apple II (I have it in an rtf file on my newer computer now).

Turtles:
22,210 - 60 - 13

Haven't played this in a while, but I'm guessing 60 turtles save and the 13 is the level.

nice score  Cool

I seem to have the hardest time with the first two levels.  The rest are either more predictable or I'm just dropping more bombs.  Part of my problem is that I try to stockpile bombs early and end up getting myself cornered.  I love the game.  I want to get my red ball wico joystick working so I'll feel like I'm at the arcade while playing it.

Has anyone actually found a real working Turtles arcade game?  I don't remember ever seeing one at Alladin's Castle (the video game arcade where I spent countless quarters playing Turbo, Pac-man, Zaxxon, and others).  I would love to own one!

Ha! I've played the arcade MIME version, and to be honest, I prefer the Odyssey2 version!  Cool

Turtles is right up there with Jr. Pac-Man for the 2600 and Lady Bug and Mouse Trap for the ColecoVision in terms of great console maze games. (And, of course, the K.C. games).
