Hi all,

I'm going to modify my Videopac G7000/22 to get RGB video signal. I'm going to make my own PCB board.

After some detective work on the internet I came across two possible solutions, namely: RGB based on the schema from the G7200 and an RGB DAC scheme. http://www.nightfallcrew.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/g7000DAC.png

My question is what is the difference between these two schemes? And what is preferred?

The circuit of the G7200 is preferred. The other circuit is missing the blanking signal. Transistors are not necessary.
