So, I was looking at the listings on ebay and pretty much have what is being offered.  Where does everyone else look for games?  I know Amazon and Half.com don't have much of anything.

I'm in the US, so I'm not sure where I can look for things that will play in my machine.  I'm new to the collecting aspect.  I've got a lot of games already, but I still want more.  And I'm down to the more difficult ones to find.

Advice from the pros??

Tough one. e(vil)Bay was the best for me years ago, but always had to get extra games to find that one. Today, the prices are usually too high.

There are some speciality shops online (Goatstore, 4jays isn't bad either). Otherwise, it is a matter of luck to some point. I remember watching eBay for months, looking for folks who didn't know what they had for sale, and posted it poorly. Then I would get deals at a fraction of more experienced sellers. Posting what you want here doesn't hurt either, as there are folks here with extra.

Good luck!

Depends what you are looking for...

I already have a ubercomplete videopac collection, but for systems i still need items for i check local ebays where the system is hot (for example MSX in spain/portugal, dreamcast in france, etc.) and persuade the sellers to send the items outside their region.

Then again there is stuff i'm looking for that only appears once in 10-15 years on ebay and takes a morgage to buy (like sega 32x PAL darxide, primal rage, tmek).

PS> if you are looking for something specific, i've got most european stuff for spare.

These are the ones I don't have.  Some are higher priority than others.  Obviously, they are the games that are hardest to find.

Atlantis (Imagic)
Casino Slot Machine!
Demon Attack (Imagic)
Frogger (Parker Bros.)
Great Wall Street Fortune Hunt
I've Got Your Number!
Keyboard Creations!
Monkeyshines!
Nimble Numbers N.E.D.!
Popeye (Parker Bros.)
Powerlords
Q*bert (Parker Bros.)
SID the Spellbinder!
Super Cobra (Parker Bros.)
Take The Money And Run!
Turtles!
Type and Tell!
 - and I need the box and game pieces for Conquest of the World.  I have the cartridge.  Oh, and the booklet that goes with Computer Intro.  Have the box and manual for that.

And, of course, there are the homebrews:

But then again, I didn't even know about these when I started collecting again a few years ago.

While a lot of these games are included on the C7060 cartridge (can't wait for my copy), I think I might want the games on their own as well.

Note that at least one game combo on the 7060 is not going to be like the final release in a few months.

Myself, I also like have the real thing, with nice artwork, manual and such.

To which game are you referring?  Just curious.

To the upcoming Minefield game for Packrat. Version on the 7060 is not exactly what is on the final release, plus the 2nd game on the cart is not Flying Saucer (this changed a bit ago). When released, will have extra things added, and honeslty will be even a more enjoyable game release.

When I got the Minefield/Flying Saucer file from Rafael he said that it was the final version. If I had known that it would be modified later I wouldn't have put in on the C7060, as I don't want any unfinished homebrews on it. I won't change it for the second release though.

Stuff happens (timing issue). So basically, the 7060 now has at a few unique things on it, that you won't get anywhere else! Smiley

FATSO! called ANTS/FATSO on the c7060 wasn't exactly the same as the release (1st & 2nd editions). ANTS was the mystery game you can play by pressing "?" On the C7060 you can play both games by pressing 0 or 1.

Can't wait for its re-release.  It will be epic, regardless of any anomalies.    Wink
