Hello,

as i did not find a launcher available  under linux, I started to develop one.
It is called jo2emLauncher. It is developped in java, so it should work also under win, osX, ...

I released it for the first time a few minutes ago. The information is even not yet published on my blog.
It is still labeled as beta, but as my children use it already I think it is already enough stable.

The source and binary are available at sourceforge: here https://sourceforge.net/projects/jo2emlauncher/.

Here is a screenshot to tease you :

What I would like, if some of you are interested, is to have feedback. Any kind of feedback:
-
  • some translations to other languages
  • some requests for features
  • some bug reports
  • some reports of test for any OS
  • some set of parameters
  • some request for help
  • ...

Hope it  helps ...

When Klaus was working on VPbase (in a very old forum) Id sugested him about the possibility to include the board part for Master Strategy Games, who knows a "eletronic RIngmaster" for Quest for the Rings Roll Eyes
Anyway, maybe thats asking too much Huh?

I don't know Quest for the rings. Thus i think i do not really understand your idea.

Was Quest of the ring a video game like "Conquest of the world" ?
With two games in the box
1- pure video game
2- a bord game with included sequences (match) of video game

Can you developp a little more your idea please ?

Ill try to make a schemme, anyway I just think it will be like to do a new game apart Huh? But basically it should have a key to alternate between emulator and board part. QFTR is an hybrid where in board part you select a place to visit and on  videogame part youre inside the castle trying to get the ring. You can get more info here:
