First time I've tried the site since I came back, and it's back with a post on the main page by Richard on 21st March.

Announcement: It's taken 2 years

It's taken two years to get this domain back from a cyber squatter. God knows why they wanted it
Lost a fee things too that will need some fixing

Will rework the site in my spare time.

Even the forum on it seems to work.
This website keeps coming and going...

Gone, back, gone, back... I don't exactly like saying it, but I think Richard should have just left it. It the domain expired, and the forum here is doing so well, why bother. Again, I will not go back there, just to have it drop again. Not worth it. I wish his good luck, but do wish he'd just kill that old forum part at the least (and I'm betting he is reading this - kill it please).

And that is not stating the issue with the not so legal Route 66 release he did so poorly at.  Undecided

The domain name went up for auction a couple of weeks ago, I very nearly put a bid in. Actually I did enter a bid amount, but then it wanted a whole bunch of other info I wasn't comfortable in giving so I left it.

It doesn't appear anyone is using the forum there. If the site stays up, I would like to see the frames go away for certain! Also, it just looks as if not everything is working quite right, with some broken links and likely a database connection broken somewhere.

Not him, but if I was, I'd blow away the forum and just keep the rest of the site up.

The O2/Vp community is not big enough that we need two forums. Just a simple fact.

There's almost no activity on the Videopac.org forum, so there's no need to check it if you don't want to.

I don't check that forum. Just sad that it is back, because some folks go there thinking it is the only forum for the VP/O2. Just hope they find this one too...
