I would like to get my hands on the videopac 99 cartridge - do you have a VP99 homebrew (2 in 1 + memory) you want to sell / swap?

Only two copies exist of this cartridge, so I think it will be hard to find...

Rene do you know who made it? - did you?

I really like the idea of being able to create and store some small programs just for fun...

I understand that the Videopac 99 homebrew is a Videopac A and a Videopac 9 put into one cartridge including some flash memory allowing text (for VP A) and programs (for VP9) to be stored after the power has been turned off.

Since Rene got one, I am sure he can give us more details? :-)

I have a couple of catridges like that (not called vp 99) with switches. They are custom made by hobbyists I guess.

Any chance that you will sell one of them?

Quote from my website:

Quote
Special home-brew hardware:

* VP 99: contains Videopac games A (Newscaster) and 9 (Computer Programmer) and an EEPROM chip to store 10 Newscaster-messages and 32 Computer-programs, even when the power is turned off.

It's one of the first special carts that I've made. I've made one for myself, and a while later one for an other collector.
I don't intend to make more of them, but the same functionality will be included in my C7070 cart. (Although with less memory space.)

No, sorry.

They each contain two or more games. As I said they were made by some hobbyist who made them just for himself.
