My computer has a 32-bit Windows version and O2em works fine on it.

Everything i start O2EM its there for a half second before shutting down it self.

which version of O2EM are you running ? the one downloadable on source forge does NOT contain a menu that lets you select a game - so if there is no ROM image provided when starting O2EM it immediately closes again - either uses a frontend (O2Launcher) or a newer version of O2EM where I implemented a game selector (you can get it here:
