videopac.nl user "timdu" has a high score contest going on here where whomever gets the highest score on Happy Bird gets a free copy of his upcoming game Mean Santa! So in order to publicize the contest more, I'm making Happy Bird be the game of the month this month. In case you don't have a copy, Tim provided you all a binary file as well as instructions here. A winner will be announced Dec. 1, 2016.

Some games use right controller, Forbidden Lands, Astrododge, etc.  Happy Bird uses right controller, any reason why?

Happy Bird also uses up to start new game and many other games you press action button.  Any reason why?

Interesting question. I can not now say that these are the real reasons. What happened during the development of Happy Bird is that, like other games, I do several tests (so you have a comfortable match 8 ^ D). Initially, the game was faster, but there is an absimal difference between a gambler on an ipad and an Odyssey2. Two things happened, I got a severe pain in the area of the big toe and it made a hole in the control board, intuitively it. Maybe, for this reason I've changed control of the game, but I'm not sure.
