This sounds a lot more complicated than the A/V Mod for the O2.

Ressurect old topic (Rene pointed me here)...

This really does look compilcated.. Ack! What can't a video mod be easy.

The biggest thing here is where to get the 'proper' transistors. That has been my biggest problem. In the States, I cannot go to a local store to get these, and online, I haven't a clue what I'm looking for.

Maybe somebody who knows electronics here should open up a O2 Mod shop!

Thanks for this topic! Without it I would probably not have been able to modify my G7000.

For me the 270pF capacitor did not work while attached to the Video IN. So instead I put it between the +5V and GND, probably to small to have any real effect, but OK..

I do wonder why you use a 1K variable resistor?? Why not just a 400 Ohm?

I documented my Mod here:

Thanks again!

I needed the capacitor on my G7000 to reduce the level of the color subcarrier.

I wanted to be able to adjust the video output level.

I probably should have mentioned the Jet25 manual is in French  Undecided

Anyway I'm sure the circuit diagrams are fairly universal. Note that 4 of the pages are foldouts and cover pages 9-24. I've put the link in my service manual page so you can see what I mean. It is a 6mb zip file containing jpgs, I've reduced them to 50% original size and 70% quality, so if there are any problems reading them I can email over larger scans.

http://www.videopac.com/service.html
See the link "HERE ARE SCANS IN A ZIP FILE FOR THE PAGES IN THESE TWO PICTURES".

Hello grgh, I'm a new owner of a Radiola Jet 25/03, I'd like to tinker with it (repair the internal power supply, try some AV mod...), so it would be of great help to get its service manual. But all I could find was your pictures on this Wayback Machine snapshot from 2014 of videopac.com :
https://web.archive.org/web/20140815220056/http://www.videopac.com/service.html

As mentioned in this old message above, you did provide a download link for a zip file with some Jet25 sevice manuals, but unfortunately, it was not archived... Please could you (or someone else who has these scans) provide them again somewhere here (or directly to me)?

I especially would like to get those ones :
- C52/03 & JET25/03 Service Manual
- C52 & JET25 service manual additional part ("Conseils de dépannage" which means "troubleshooting recommandations")
(and perhaps JET25/04 service manual could be of some use too)
