Dear colleagues,

I am new to this board, collecting old video games and home computers from the 80s and 90s.

A few weeks ago I got a G7000 for cheap from Ebay.

It is not working. When I scan my TV to channel 32 I am getting a stable picture.
But the screen is totally black, no matter if I insert a game or not.

I only have a small multimeter. The voltage for the mainboard is ~5.2V.

Do you have any advise what I can do now?

Thank you and best regards,

Sascha

Hello Sascha,

Welcome here.

Voltage is OK for the G7000.

When you have only a multimeter, I think the 1st step is to replace the main IC 8048.
