Hello,
I bought a huge videopac collection with a console and many games.
My first computer was a commodore C64  and my focus at the moment are
Sega Mega Drive games. So videopac was a little bit before my gaming time. ;-)

Is there still a community of videopac players?
Most of the posts of the forum are  old.

I'm thinking to sold everything or start to complete the collection I bought.
I like the videopac game boxes. The covers (of the plastic covers) look great
and the system is very old and has his own charm.

Thank you for your answers

Welcome to our paradise Videopac / Odyssey2!
I think the members are players (35%) and collectors (65%).
Or both.
I do not know if players play more games of the 80s or new homebrews?
But you know you're in the best place here.
Ask your technical or gaming questions and there will always be someone who will answer you.
What games are you looking for?

At the moment I have so many games and I don't know how to start. :-)
Why are some games in plastic boxes and some games have only paper boxes?

Thank you

Thank you for the detail list of paper box and plastic box games.

Is there also a list of all game names and how rare they are?

How rare is Spider Man 2nd edition? Whats the price for it?

I also have the box of first Spider Man (Parker) but no
modul inside? How rare is the first edition of Spider Man
and is it possible to get this modul?

Thank you

Spider-Man !

Congratulations, you are the owner of a SPIDERMAN PARKER cardbox by CCC--- in 2006 !

The 1st SPIDER-MAN numbered version as Videopac #65 are sold out since many years.
The 2nd SPIDER-MAN (not numbered) as Videopac #65 are sold out too.

A few years ago I've bought the last copies of the 2nd edition and the SPIDER-MAN prototype too.

In 2016, I've released 50 copies of SPIDER-MAN cartridge + Parker style cardbox. They are sold out too !

Fortunately, I've a few copies of the cartridge for sale. René has prepared a few copies befor he left the scene.
Then you can complete your CCC---'s cardbox now.

Markus

The community is still active, but some long term folks have taken a step back, including myself. I still pop in now and then, but not as active as I used to be (job situation for some years now prevents me from buying all homebrew games).

Some post are old, but there is a fare amount on new content too. Look around, engage, and people will respond.

This site will be here for some time, and it is one of the main areas for O2 / VP gamers to connect with.

Life just got in the way and I never recovered my mojo back for the VP.

I'm catching up again with coding where I stopped 10 or 11 years ago. (too much other things came inbetween and I nearly forgot about this one to be honnest)

Currently writing some cross-tools that I need to make things easier.

Hopefully a game will be the result after a while.
