Maybe its my extremist videopac collecting is like a drug? Or maybe its because I previously talked about the design of the Blobbers cover in a porn context?

write more sentences like that and I wouldn't even be able to access the forum anymore in a few days ...  Wink

Looks like the monitor is not properly adjusted.

Excellent spot! but I've just tested this again and I can confirm it was indeed the monitor adjustment Sad

I also used a released version and they do look exactly the same. The interesting thing was I could swap between the cartridges, pressing reset each time, and it still retained my high score!

The 5 US prototypes came with a load of other stuff, including what looked like two photocopied manuals, which I put to one side to check out later in case they were anything special. The good news is they were something special, and are original prototype documentation for Freedom Fighters and Pick Axe Pete.

I've put pics under the FF & PAP sections for anyone interested:
http://www.videopac.com/prototypes.html

The FF one has hand written notes on every page, its a real nice piece of history. I might scan them if anyone is interested.

Added front page pics for C7420 basic module & C52/Jet25 service manuals: http://www.videopac.com/service.html

Added 'videospiel 39' sticker and TGWSFH sheet at the end: http://www.videopac.com/adverts.html

I'm going to be doing a fairly large update over the next few weeks. There are various pages floating around that I haven't linked off the main menus yet, some I have mentioned and some I haven't. I'll also be putting a lot of stuff that is in single pictures into table formats which will make maintenance and linking much easier. I've also got plans for some other new pages, but that might have to wait until later. Watch this space...

It's getting there. Some people say I pay too much for some items, personally I say the best items will always command a premium and will be the only things to appreciate in value over time.  Smiley

It's just what you are prepared and able to pay. I also love to collect Videopac but the sport for me is to get things very cheap. You know, the "nice finds" that you find on a fleamarket or from someone who doesn't have a clue what it's worth.

To each his own  Smiley and he who has never paid much money for a videopac casts the first stone  Grin

And Steelballs, don't start about that munchkin on a fleamarket again!!!
