26848 is my high score. I cleared all seven screens 3 times and was on the seventh screen the fourth time around when I ran out of luck. I think it was the longest single Odyssey2 game I have ever played.

I better get practicing! EDIT: I want to add to this: - It is interesting that a homebrew has been quoted as "I think it was the longest single Odyssey2 game I have ever played.". - This game has an option for shield regeneration among other things. - Maybe rather than just plus backgrounds we should suggest possible modifications to scoring and life/recharge changes to existing games. - More modern game concepts might be back portable to the o2/VP? Any ideas/comments? Feel free to say anything, there are no bad ideas in game creation and modification, just ideas that might work and might create thought that spawns other ideas.

The shield regeneration is a key part of being able to last so long. Maybe a harder level would start you out on level 2? Or an option that eliminates shield regeneration? Or change it so if you get hit your done (hint- taking one for the team can help you achieve those perfect scores so long as you have enough life left). I personally like the game the way it is because I CAN play it for a long time (usually). It's a nice change from the typical 2-5 minute games.

Sorry I should have made myself clearer, yes this game is great just the way it is, I meant that maybe it would be possible to modify the scoring on existing videopacs to make the games last longer.

- Maybe rather than just plus backgrounds we should suggest possible modifications to scoring and life/recharge changes to existing games. I not sure, but I think to make just graphics on an existent game is easiest, but change the game itself could be complex, better spend time on new games creation. [quote author=grgh link=topic=702.msg5373#msg5373 date=1218760900 - More modern game concepts might be back portable to the o2/VP? Any ideas/comments? Most of modern game are just an update on old game.

I do. However I must say that I only played it one or two times, and another two or three times on the emulator. I think the game is really great technically, for sure one of the most complex Videopac games. However, I don't like the game itself to be honest. I even don't know why, maybe it's too hectic for me, I'm an old man, LOL. But probably that's just me and I have to "get in" the game, I should give it another try ...

I do too, but I don't need it to play the game, I use my Game Collection Module for that.
