 Shocked

So what goes on the board? Does he upload all the vp games to it? Does the board have a PC/Mac interface to it? How does it work?

funny ... looks more or less exactly like the thing I proposed in this thread:
http://videopac.nl/forum/index.php?topic=772.0

the guy uses micro-SD cards to put the games on, has a display on the board and selects them and has different connectors for different systems ... that would be a nice thing to have :-)

are the schematics for that somewhere to find ? (along with the software running on it) ? I'd like to build one of those Smiley

Maybe I should have watched the video before posting  Roll Eyes

I see now, that's really neat. I'd pay good money for that as well, it would make getting into vp programming much easier.

That is awesome, that guy needs to patent it and make some big bucks as well as provide us with a manufactured version!

Hmm, just a question: Which advantages does this thing have compared to a RAM cart?

Thanks to the Micro-SD memory card it's a combination of a RAMcart and a multicart.

I think it is rather nice, especially if you could also connect it to ohter systems like the atari, colecvision and intellivision.

- more than one game on the SD card
- no PC needed to play the games

thats just two :-)

Hehe, I am a cashier and customers always have interesting reactions when their total is $6.66.

Once a lady gave me back one cent and said "It was 6.65." lol

Still, having the Videopac RAM cart I don't see any need to get this one as well. I would, of course, if I would use this for other systems too ...
