Post Videopac PCBs order request
Hi All,
I've mentioned it in the past i was working together with a friend of mine on getting videopac pcbs made. Well i've had several conversations with other members of the forum at this stage all planning is over and we should have the prototype PCB ready somewhere in the next month.
The PCB will be same measurements as the original, so you can keep the original cart mechanism.
The 32KB Eeprom is already soldered in for you, so no need getting your hands dirty.
A seperate cable would be available for homebrew authors that will allow you to program the cart without removing the EEPROM using normal eeprom-burning equipment.
There are 2 PCB packages you can chooise from:
- PCB + 32KB EEPROM - 4 Euros
- PCB + 32kB EEPROM with your rom burned onto it - 5 Euros
Update: Due to the technical specs of the PCB design, the 32KB eeproms can contain up to 8kb games (all videopac games and most + games work within this model).
The PCBs should be ready between half of may and june 1st, so we'll not be taking any payments before half of may. The PCBs can only be used for homebrew/proto releases.
We're taking pre-orders at this point, so we can estimate the kind of order.
If you are interested, please PM me with the number of PCBs you'd like to order, and if possible a date for your release.
Kind regards,
Martijn Wenting / Revival Studios

the package is all-in with eeprom soldered into the pcb..
option 1 has an empty eeprom which can be reprogrammed using a cable, if you'd like to do the programming yourself - good for people that dont know exactly when and where they'll be releasing projects and/or want to save a bit on the production costs
option 2 you can submit a rom and have it programmed for you - good for e.g. hombrew authors who'd like to have as little fuss as possible.
