I have not received my games and they have not refunded my order as they decided, and now they do not even bother to respond. Unfortunately, I have no other alternative but to expose this here.
It is sad and ugly to do this to a collector who has been patiently and silently waiting for a solution since January. What a headache I am going through with these games.
Please Patrice, RayXambeR, do not do this to me.

Wanted lists / Unique JoPac Titles

As far as I can tell, there are ten unique titles. Six titles that have only seen a JoPac release, and four titles that are unique because they were only released as plus titles by JoPac.
The list:
Unique as Jopac:
1. Syracuse
2. Chez Maxime
3. Des Chiffres er des Lettres
4. Exojet +
5. Le Trésor Englouti +
6. Moto-Crash +
Unique Jopac '+':
1. Basket/Bowling +
2. Billard +
3. Demon Attack +
4. Flipper +

To be clear: I am not blaming the cable!
I am not sure how I can set the input to rgb. I tried on one crt, but could not find anything in the settings. I have a more modern lcd with scart. According to the manual it definitely is rgb. I will hook that one up, probably tomorrow, and wil have a look if I can get it to work there.
If on AV input, the black and white signal should produce a picture? Or just a black screen?

Your TV must be on RGB input to display the colors.
Your genuine Philips scart cable was tested here before sending.

Hardware / Black screen Videopac G7401
Last post by DennisNL - August 31, 2024, 10:50:03 AMI received an original rgb scart cable from Marc, so I could finally test my G7401.
Unfortunately all I get is a black screen. It does automatically jump to the proper channel, so there must be some signal. I tried finding an answer on the forum and from what I have read, I should be swapping chips.
Is the G7400 similar enough to the G7401 to swap chips? Is there anything I need to check before I start swapping?
Or could there be another reason for the black screen? I tried different carts, both just gave the black screen. I tried two different CRT's, one even has a blue scart connector, from what I have been told, that means it supports rgb.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Would love to get it working again!

Last post by DennisNL - August 27, 2024, 01:27:43 PMI used to play retro games with my kids as well, when they were younger. My daughter lives on her own. I still have two sons at home, 16 and 18, but they are no longer interested in retro anymore.
It is fun to share this hobby with your kids, so do it while you can!
I did have a small group of family member that I meet up with every now and then. We play boardgames or video games. We once had a bowling competition on the Videopac, which was fun.
