Wanted lists / Dronspa wanted list
Last post by dronspa - February 19, 2024, 04:29:17 PM
Greetings to all.

I was collecting from 2007 to 2013, with some small subsequent purchases, but for personal reasons (mainly due to lack of time due to raising my children) I left my beloved Videopac aside a little.

During these more than 10 years I have not sold any of my possessions, some of which I am very happy to keep (first editions of Interpol or Clay Pigeon, for example, or the complete collection of Radiola and near a half-collection of Siera). But, obviously, I have missed a good part of the new releases.
I'll get into that shortly, mainly with those of Marc / VideoPac IsLive / VideopacBelgium (I'm missing a few... from 2014 onwards...).

I searched the forum to see if I had previously opened this thread but I couldn't find it.

Here is my wish list, in case I am very lucky that some user has a copy to sell and be able to expand my collection a little.

Emulating the Videopac / Odyssey2 / Re: MAME emulation improvement...
Last post by ∆ + 0 / 9 - February 17, 2024, 08:13:41 PM
Thanks for improving VIDEOPAC on MAME! The sound and the performance is much better than on the regular OEM2 emulator.
I found a bug on the following game called VOLLEYBALL, it's the VIDEOPAC game number 28. When you play it in 2 player mode, the 2nd player cannot serve the ball. It's just stuck while serving the ball in the game. This game is running normally on the O2EM emulator when using the french version but not with the normal version.
I hope you can you fix this in the next MAME version. This would be awesome, as I played this game in my youth with my father and brothers.

All the best from Switzerland,
;)  ∆ + 0 / 9

@Doug -> I am contacting Tanuki and when I have information, I will come back here, probably tomorrow afternoon I think. Perhaps can you made another try?

@Tom Beck -> Many thanks for your great support! I think you will find the physical releases very great :)

@cjherr -> The "story" about Boxing and Starcrush is that these games are delayed for two reasons: to be available at the same time with the book (this one needs some additional information, notably the Vault cartridge) and also we have some delayed concerning the artworks.illustrations for them. So in order to not delay again the other games, we have decided to release the three gales already complete.

And thanks for people that have already ordered the games, we appreciate your support, sorry for the delay but it is just a labour of love. Just be sure when we announce something, it will be released. "When" that is the question ;)

And, of course, we have planned more games after these three and the other two! It is just the beginning of great Videopac releases! :)
