Black Queensday

Today we had Queensday in the Netherlands. But a idiot has made it into a national day of sadness. He killed 4 people, injured 13 persons, 5 heavenly and almost hit the bus where the queen and the familie where riding in.
I was at a big fleamarket when i heard the news, and i didn't feel haapy enough to finish the fleamarket.
Sad thing that people can do so stupid things.

I watched film of that on BBC news, he only just missed a cyclist and a guard when he crashed into the monument at the end. I'm sorry to hear he had already hurt and killed people.

I was at home when I heard about it. I've been watching the news on TV continuously from 12:00 until the evening.
This was supposed to be a happy day. On Queensday, (almost) no-one needs to go to work and there are parties in every town and village. (I think you can compare it with the August 1 celebrations in Switzerland.) But today one lunatic has ruined it for the whole country.

So sorry to hear about this, I don't understand why people do what they do.  In America we get quite a lot of nuts who shoot places up like malls, high schools, and such, we had a bomb threat at my high school recently.

I wish the best out of the bad situation for the victims and their families.

Yes, he is dead. Maybe we will never know why he did it.
There are now 6 people dead, because of him. I don want to count him as a casualty, but i didn't count him as one of the dead.

Usually the aggressors here kill themselves right after they do whatever they do.
