That's because the same power supply was used for the Philips MSX VG8010.

Ah, ok. Inside I knew, it was the same as the 7400 supply, only with a few extra components for the -12V
Still it is nice to have a complete set.

I bought a protectvie box to my Conquista do Mundo (Conquest of the World). It´s not exactly a dream item but since I have these boxes for my brazilians QFTR and TGWSFH, why not to buy it. Got the MCS-48 Seminar Notebook in!  It is looking great! Absolutely mint condition.
I have checked Ebay again and similar ones are being sold for over $60.. (even with pencil scriblings)

That thought has crossed my mind  I happen to have acquired a Mustek A3 scanner from the recycle basket at my work. It was abandoned since 'it does not work anymore' (on a new Windows 7/8 system I guess...) It works just fine with Ubuntu after putting the right firmware file in the right place. It should make scanning single and double pages a bit easier.
