Continental Edison-SABA poster.
(100cm x 65cm)
Note that at the bottom of the poster, there are SYRACUSE+, RESTAURANT & WESTERN+.

Nice!

Is it possible to make a close up picture of the Western+ screenshot?

Around the screen, you can see: The saloon, the steam train, the sheriff's hat, and two guns. The reward was only $5000 but it was 30 years ago.

Thanx! First time I have had a better look at it.

And I see you have found Flashpoint. Congrats! :)

Short question about WESTERN+ :

Was it ever released  ???
I saw no WESTERN+ at videopac.com, so if he has no one, then i think it was never released  ;)

Is it the plus version of Videopac 14? Then i have a good idea:

We must find someone who makes the plus picture and Mark (videopac belgium) released the first new Jopac game ever for our collection  :D

You're right,

WESTERN+ was announced (on the Jopac console box & on the SABA poster) but it was never released.
It's the "plus" version of Videopac 14.

I expect to release the 1st Jopac game (of course a grey cart) WESTERN+ in 2014. The "plus" graphics will be created by someone and based from informations Jopac.

These are really good news.

Videopac belgium makes that my wishes come true. And this within 5 minutes  :D

But where do you get all the grey carts? I think there will be no 50 or 69 pieces?

Western+ is one of those mystery games, only known because of some printed screenshots but never found. If it was ever made is unknown.

WESTERN+ is a mystery Jopac game unlike SYRACUSE+ that surfaced.

Nice, hope you give them the room they deserve ;)
I cleaned my 7200 (english rom) inside and out and indeed also the button would not stay in anymore but, left it, i don't use it and it's in the display already.

Also maybe there is some risk in using these models with tv too long?
i don't know... but the Voltages in Holland gradually went from 220Volts to now, almost 240Volts in Holland.

Not really a problem since the power supply is a switch-mode type. The output voltages are regulated by a feedback system. The smoothing capacitors at the primary side are rated for 385 Volt which is nowadays maybe a bit on the low side. Since 2004 the voltage in Europe is standardized at 230 Volts AC which results in a rectified and smoothed maximum of 230 x 1.414  = 325 Volts still within safety limits.
When devices have not been switched on for many years I always put a lightbulb in series with the primary power supply, this will limit the inrush current and voltage too (depending on the wattage of the bulb). For Videopac stuff I use a 60 Watt bulb. An old trick but it saved many fuses and other parts.

Just a word on the powerswitch: if it is not functioning properly, please bypass it or remove it. A non functioning switch has also an unknown contact force and can be a fire hazard. (Seen several TV sets, mainly Philips, with very bad burnmarks around the switch, some even shortcircuited fully)

Thanks, i don't go as far as the lightbulb trick but the 7200 i don't use now, it worked fine after intensive cleaning
The power button doesn't stay in anymore also.
On my 7400 the button was bad too already when i got it, removed it & soldering the contacts from the supply cord directly on the board.
I then, glued the red cap (button) in place as if it's pressed in ;)

For me it's preserving the consoles and not so much in using them on a daily base.
But i will replace the switch sometime if i can get it from somebody.
