Sweersa, when I introduced the "Buy me a beer" option on this forum you replied with this comment:

"I don't know, its a clever and interesting idea.  But think about the younger people (do you think there are any?) that see these forums.  I am sure we have a few ghost readers, I just don't think its the best idea to send the wrong message to some younger people.  "

As I consider virtual beer a lot less harmfull then guns, especially guns used in a civil war where lots of civilians were killed and from whom some of their relatives may actually see these forums (I actually know a couple personally because they had to flee their country back then), I want to ask you to remove these texts and photo's considering guns and stop posting them here. Do that on the proper forums somewhere else.

Thanks!

I totally agree. In fact, I wouldn't mind if Janzl would kick you off the forum for this!!!

I have removed it per your respectful request.  I do not understand how photos of something can be considered offensive, but I don't have to because this is your forum and I'll respect your wishes.

I just want you and others to know I mean nothing malicious about it, I collect for historical purposes, responsible enjoyment, and I find the engineering behind such things quite interesting as it is history.  I'm not sure if museums have firearms where you are from, but I see it more as a private museum similar to how I collect O2 things.  I like to share them with others and since no one or few here seem to share that view I'll refrain from posting such things here.

Alcohol kills more people than guns in my country, so I could say the same thing.  Since I'm of legal drinking age now in the US (that post is from years ago), I can say I don't have an issue with the buy me a beer feature.  In fact, if we are ever in the same area, I'd gladly buy you a real beer or two. :)

I don't understand this line of thinking on kicking me out as I didn't post any pictures of firearms, just magazines which are boxes with springs in them with historic significance, but I understand we come from very different areas with very different politics.  I do know personally a number of people in Europe who also enjoy the sport and historical interest in such technology.  Where I'm from, it's a recreational sport or tradition, and should be done responsibly.  Accidents and horrible events do occur as they do everywhere, but they also occur with vehicles, motorcycles, and alcohol. Something to think about.  I'm not trying to change your mind, and I hope you don't think of me as a bad person, but if you do, that's up to you.

I didn't mean to make anyone upset, and I certainly don't think one should be booted due to unintentionally offending adults over something acceptable in my region.  Now I know. I hope there's no hard feelings Rene, I enjoy your posts and all of the information you kindly offer here and I even have a few games of yours that I really like!

I was just shocked to see a picture like this. I don't want any link between my favorite video game and stuff that is used in real wars.

I have removed the picture.  Rest assured, the magazines in that photo will never be used or even inserted into a rifle.  I'm not sure on their past, but most of them were probably never used for their intended purpose and just sat in a warehouse.  Anything I acquire of this nature will never be used illegally or to hurt people, so I suppose I can look at it as taking them off the streets.

Anyways, to get back on topic.  I just ordered HOT LOVE!  I have a good friend who will be returning from Argentina in a month, we often play the O2 together.  I think he will like this game, and he has no idea there was an adult game made for the system! :D

Janzl

Thanks Sweersa, I have read you statement and don't want to go into details but let's just agree to disagree :-).

I can confirm this is infact the Odyssey2 version of the trackball ... at least it said "Odyssey" on the box and had an "OD" sticker on the trackball itself ...

Is it hard to find? Is it make the gaming experinece better ???

Yes, Marc has a good sense of humor. We all loved also his april fool 2014. If he would make a cartridge with his Pink Panther joke, I would buy it.

You don't have to be mad, but it helps.

Ozyr's Released Homebrew and Prototype List

It´s not about videogames, but my passion by games started with boardgames, all in all I think board games had a big influence on videogames history, starting with the first Odyssey, passing by the unique Master Strategy Series and even a module was created only to make Chess possible on Vpac. I finally could find it (and by a nice price). It´s a game board collection release in the late of 70´s called "All Games" (not true). It contents many boardgames, a book with games history, a book of card games, many tokens, dices, cards, records etc. Now I jsut need to organize it, and who knows I can have some inspiration for an Ody game.
