The VIC20 has been restored to its former glory  :)

The spare C64 keyboard I got works perfectly in the VIC, just replaced some keycaps back because they were worn, cleaned the whole thing up a bit (Quick & Brite), replaced the aluminum foil on the cardboard (it just dropped off after disassembly) with some fresh 'household alu foil' and presto: a nice fully working VIC20

Arrived today!!!

Donkey Kong DIIK for the Intellivision.

Because the original Donkey Kong release by CBS was really crap, some enthousiastic homebrewers decided to make the "ultimate vesion" of DK for the Intellivision.

The game is simply amazing, with five new levels!

Impressive! Looks really great! I was pondering on getting it, but spent way too much on homebrews lately (Videopac, Atari 2600, Odyssey 1, ...) so that I passed on that one.

11 games to go for a complete Intellivision collection of the original releases. That will be expensive enough, and maybe it will never be complete if I refuse to pay several hundred Euros for a boxed game ...

Been out of the 'other' homebrew market for a while. Had no idea this was being done. I would imaging the price was not cheap - especially with the box and all!?

I know the problem. I am also choosing between homebrews at the moment. Unfortunately Intellivision homebrews tend to be sold out quite fast so I went for this one.

Price was $60,00. But it is a high quality release in every aspect. And I just keep on playing it :)

And that's, after all, the most important factor!

The last non-Videopac homebrew I bought was Boulder Dash for the Atari 2600: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6Ge6G9sT9E

When you watch the video, you would think this game runs on an Atari 800, but it's a VCS!! Andrew Davie and Thomas Jentsch did a great job! It was the most expensive homebrew I ever bought ($80+), bit it's worth it. It comes complete with an extensive colored manual and a high quality box, along with some "gems", and I think they had to pay license fees to First Star Software too, because it's a licensed game.

Would they have the ROM image online at all? Plus is there a site that was selling this?

And how high are the odds you will find a VG5000 power supply at a Commodore club meeting...
Now both my VG5000 have original power supplies...

That's because the same power supply was used for the Philips MSX VG8010.
