A CIB copy of Computer Intro!. Now all I need is the three Parker Bros. games I don't have and I'll be done (with what I want, anyway.)

Early Odyssey 2 console with silver detachable controllers.  It came with a butcherd up video cable, and the wrong power supply, so I gave it one of my extra O2 power supplies and used an Atari video cable. Smiley  It also came with 7 boxed games.  All but one have the manual.

The silver controllers worked, but they required abnormal force to operate and generally don't work well.  All silver joysticks I have (4) are like this, so I replaced them with 2 detachable black controllers that have the newer flat boards in them and it works well now. Cheesy

This O2 means I have a number of major variations of Odyssey 2 units in the states.

1) Early model with detachable controllers

2) Model with smooth keyboard and flat logo with Magnavox logo

3) Model with rough keyboard and flat logo, no Magnavox logo

4) Model with raised logo

I just won an eBay auction on an Odyssey 2 "working" but has no power supply and the right controller doesn't work. It looks like the right controller only needs a new wire.  Less than $20 shipped.

I'll post pictures when I get it! It looks like an older unit so I'll probably have to desolder the shield to clean the motherboard and replace the controller wire easily. I usually do this with the older consoles with the shields, and then solder a ground wire on similar to the white ground wire the newer O2 units have because the old ones use the shield as ground, and without that, you can't use it. I'm on a buying spree lately.  Purchased several boxed games that I had only cartridges for previously.  Now, only 13 more to convert.  And 5 more to get total.  It's a shame they are the really expensive ones.   Tongue

I was wrong.  It is 8 needed.  The ones I don't have are the expensive and rare varieties.

Casino Slot Machine
Popeye
Power Lords
Type and Tell
Q*bert
Spiderman
Sid the Spellbinder
Super Cobra

I have seen Casino Slot Machine and Type and Tell recently on eBay.

The rest are simply conversions of loose cartridges to boxes games with manuals.

Brazilian would play in my console.  And it would match my Atlantis and Frogger.   Wink
