Nice find Martijn!

I finally got myself a VP+ (G7400)
Wasn't hunting one down, but when a friend of mine told me he had one doing nothing I couldn't resist buying it :D

I just bought an Odyssey 2 with voice module for $25 shipped!  It included the power cable and a PAP cart.  The console seems to work except the description says both controllers don't work.  I have extra controllers if those are bad, and if it's something on the motherboard, I'm sure it can be fixed with some help here :)  I think the seller may lose money on shipping when you count in the fees.

If the Voice works, I did pretty good! I'll clean everything when it arrives.

Nice find !
I remember that I've seen this on ebay.
I didn't expect that this auction doesn't rise more.
Congratulations.

I think, Sweersa will rescue every Odyssey2 console in the US.  :D

He can open a Magnavox/NAP service station for O2.

Haha that would be funny! RenĂ© could easily do that, maybe we could team up if he were to move to the US :) I have many spare parts. If I can get the controllers to work on the new console, that will be 13 working Odyssey 2 units! Clearly, I have a problem.  I suppose one benefit of being single is you can have 13 of the same huge vintage consoles, half with the boxes, without issues.

Thank you!  I'm surprised the seller accepted my offer of $25, it was set at a $35 buy it now/make offer with less than a day left when I submitted the offer.

Seob

Bought a floppydrive emulator to replace my broken drive in my vg8245 msx2.
Got it today, but i have to make a cable to be able to use it on the msx2.
8 bits of fun

Sweersa

Well I took the day off from work today and had more time for the new O2. I was only able to clean the console and Voice module before today. Replaced one controller, and a controller cable to get them both working again!  I also replaced the bottom of the console enclosure, as the original had a little piece broken off and I have a few extra in the spare parts bin.

I look forward to playing it today. :)

Spent $25 shipped for both the console and Voice module. It also came with a PAP cart. Both needed cleaning, and the O2 needed the above repairs.  I'd say that's not a bad deal at all.  The guy paid almost $17 to ship it, but he made a little money and has less clutter now.

Now I have 13 Odyssey 2 consoles!  :o

In my opinion, Sweersa must get the "Videopac.nl price 2015".

He recover so many Odyssey2 before they die, that must be real love!  ;)

Haha that would be funny, and cool!  If I see a good deal, or a potential fun project, I can't help but jump on it. I think it is love!

Maybe this video started it:

I should donate one to a local museum, with a nice box.  I certainly would if they would let me arrange the display, and if they would actually display it and not store it away.  I also should give a few to my cousins who played with the one that started it all so many years ago.  I should have a chat with them to see if they would play, I think they would!

Haha I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed!  First I think someone would have to come up with an optical disk to work with the O2.
