Don't worry, it's nice to see your enthusiasm.  :)

manopac

the handle immediatly reminded me on the Commodore SX-64 :-)

the idea with the lable is good, but I think I would go for a small version of it instead of the whole case ... it would look more classy then if you have the whole case in black and a small red arrow and the philips videopac on it ...

and like Ren? said ... keep them coming :-)
sex, lies, and videopac

I wonder if you could use an N60 motherboard since the cartridge slot is already on the side:

It is black and white on the screen, but I think everything is there to produce colour output to an external device?

That won't be useful: the N60 has the same motherboard as the C52 (french G7000), the cartridge slot is connected to it with a cable.

Hehe, it was kind of simular :) Good that you liked it, was thinking about it right after i made it, have a smaller label and make it more simular to a real cart on the top, allso i put "laptop" in different languages where the name of the game usually is, tought that was fun.
I know a guy who makes labels and bends plastic in different shapes, so i think it is possible to do.

Another bump from me, now there are pictures up that are a bit more "bright" with some textures/right colors. Allso what I am thinking to do with the parts and wiring.
Edit: hope the wiring and part's pictures gives any sense, i have drawn the 3D drawings so i kind of know what the different things consists of.

Cheers

:o I like it!  I've been tossing around the idea of putting Odyssey2 guts into a laptop computer and retrofitting it for joystick ports, etc.   I like your idea better!

Yes, don't use a G7000 motherboard, but use a G7400 motherboard!

To be able to play the videopac + games with full power? Was thinking about it but i can`t find a single g7400 in Norway. And ordering consoles from different country's allways gets so expensive. =S But thanks for the id?a anyway, would have loved to do it. Anyone know an good website to buy the parts i need for the RGB mod?

Maybe you could try an eBay shop which sells electronic components.

Turtle

that could work :) and another consern is finding a TFT monitor that actually works with the videopac, arent they pretty sensetive on what they get? 320x240 @ 60Hz. Hsync = 15.7kHz, Vsync = 60Hz, this is what i read in another thread, is this the case for pal consoles to? Pretty new to all this electronic jibba jabba, have only created pc's inside other consoles earlier and thats a bit easier ;)

Turtle

Oh thanks, was searching mad for 60 hz so now i can search mad for 50 hz instead ;)

Turtle

Done some searching around and the closest I come is a PSone pal screen, is this somthing i should go for? easy to use? Think it is a bit to small tho =/
