Since the Brazil seems to be the only South America country where the Odyssey was released I trying to discover if it was released in another South america countries. For while seems it was released in other 3 countries: Chile, Vezenuela and Per?. I tried some contacts to discover something about unknown games, adds... but have no reply until now. Here?s an article from Chile (spanish) where seems the consoles came from USA while the cartdriges from Europe:

Checking on "MercadoLibre" of these countries some O2 games also came with a small Philips stiker on the cover:

I think it will be hard to do. Seems there?s no much information or where to get it :(

Intresting in that it is and Odyssey2, not an Odyssey! Looks like American O2 with Philips sticker on it.

I like that they have the plastic cases.

Good luck to anyone that tries a rarity list on this stuff.

It would make sense to use the european Videopac cartridges: that way they wouldn't have to do any translations, as the european manuals already contain spanish and portuguese.
I like the raised Philips logo's on the console. For countries that use NTSC they could just use the US Odyssey2 console. (Brazil has it's own TV standard (60Hz PAL), so they had to make a different console.)

Great to see that even in 2010 new things are being discovered.
Did discover this advert from a seller in Lima http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.pe/MPE-12811870-antiguo-odyssey-philips-1978-_JM It has a raised odyssey logo with raised philips logo on the bottom and a raised philips batch just underneath the raised odyssey logo.
Also found this variation has a raised odyssey logo and a raised philips logo on the bottom left. Notice the philips brand on the right cartridge http://www.flickr.com/photos/afrokid/357330760/.

Here a site with a lot of different console types http://www.catawiki.nl/catalogus/Video-games-Platformen-Consoles-Hardware-/a/ae72ca478897be4da86aa1b50519fb7984a6af5d/g/na/s/1/0/8149/a

the cartridge on the right should be a Brazil cart (Odyssey)

can it be, that the systems all are just US systems with Philips stickers ?

I actually meant the last picture but somehow quoted the wrong one ... still, I think the "odyssey" games which are philips branded are Brazil releases, while the "Odyssey2" are the US Magnavox ones ... I don't think there is actually any different games or systems in South America, just
- games from the US and Europe and Brazil
- systems from the US with a Philips sticker

Yes, probably the game "Acerte Seu N?mero" is brazilian, the others are european and form USA.
