In exchange for a sixpack of palm beer i got the following stuff: 1x c64 1x c64c 2x datasette 1x 1541-II diskdrive 1x final cartridge III 1x powersupply for the c64 1x powersupply for diskdrive 1x video to scart cable 2x serial cable to connect the diskdrive 2x the arcade joystick 40 or so disks original manuals for c64, diskdrive, datasette, final cartridge and printer. 1 laser lt421 laptop. The c64 needs some work since a few keys won't work, but the rest is running fine.
Also i found a bezerk boardgame from MB at a secondhand store yesterday for 4 euro.

LOL, i accept almost every brand of beer. I should have bought some c64 games on the retrofair. Going to make myself a xm1541 transfer cable so i can transfer disk images from pc to c64. Can't imagine you're short on c64's. But i have some spare ones. P.M. me for the videopac mod.

don't bother - get yourself an 1541Ultimate: http://www.1541ultimate.netits not really cheap, but its more than worth the money! It replaces a Final Cartridge/Action Cartridge, the diskdrive, a memory expansion, lets you mount images on the fly by selecting them on screen etc. never regretted to get mine :-)

Me too, i'd like to have an updated X1541 cable (that works on win7) as well so i could use the original hardware and use it for the Vic20/c16 too!

Ultimate Rules!!!
I have the x1541 cable but my c64 diskdrives kept on dying on me. Almost every Retrofair I went to I had to buy another diskdrive. I got so sick and tired of it. Old mechanical hardware is bound to choke and die someday.
The Ultimate 1541 is a breeze! All my games on one SD-cart and still plenty of room left. And it all functions just the same and better then with an original diskdrive. It works very intuïtive like you almost need no manual, still it has so many options I consider it one of my most precious retrogaming items.

I am convinced, however it still won't work with my VIC-20 (unlike ye-ol' 1541 which will work like a breeze). Also: What else would i do with my hundreds of floppy-disks eh?
