I'm Walter and i'm a "fresh" collector from Austria.

When i was a child, i had G7000 and a lot of games. Later i got the G7200 which I changed later to a G7400.
As i got older, i sold my whole stuff I regret today of course.  :(

Now i'm older, i like the old devices and so i got last year a G7400 with 13 Games among others such beautiful pieces as 58 and 60.
And so my passion for collecting was awakened.

At the moment my collection includes 5 Consoles, ~68 Videopac Modules Jewelcases, 3 Parker,43 Radiola, 2 Videopac Brazil and nearly the whole Odyssey 2 Series (~50 Modules) and it's still growing.

My dream is to collect the whole Series of Games.  ;:)
I think this is a lifetime job. :)

I'm happy to be here and happy to meet other collectors and friends of Videopac.

Greetings Walter

Hi Walter,

thanks for your story and welcome to our forum. Here is the right place for you. And believe me, you are not alone in Austria. I read here something about an Austria armada.  :D

You must also see our wonderful new games: Highwater Patrol, Terrahawks2, Wildlife, Down or Mage3 are some of the latest one. Take a look at "New Releases".

I wish you a very good time here !  :)

Hi Walter and welcome to the forum

Check in my signature below for the link to the Release Schedule for details about all the new games.
You don't have to be mad, but it helps.

Thank you for your welcome!

It's amazing how much new releases will come.

I'll keep an eye on the Shedule and i think i'll do a a few more overtime hours for my shopping-money  :D

Hi Walter, and welcome!

Is your username a Star Wars reference? :D

Welcome to the forum. Nice to see that you already got two of the most expensive games for the system. Makes collecting the rest a lot easier.
8 bits of fun

Thank you!

That's a good question. I use this Nickname a long time.
I'm not shure if Star Wars or another Film was the source.  :)

I heard about it.
60 is supposedly the most expensive game.
But I have paid far more for others.  ;:)

60 is supposedly the most expensive game.

Videopac 48 could be even more expensive.
There are of course other rare games likes the CSV set and certain Jopacs and Brazilian Odyssey games.

Yes, the CSV-Set. The prices are insane.
At the Moment one Set is offered at € 500,-.  :o

I think i need a dose of luck to get this set to a moderate price.
For such rare things the best source is a garage sale.  :)

No problem for me, I can read German too.
(But I prefer to write in English.)

Hi Walter and Welcome!

Like rene mentioned 48 and 60 i think are the rarest european games to collect.
I happened to have two copies of 48 at one point, which i was able to trade for a copy of 60 , which was my last european game to complete :P

Good luck with collecting!
