Sold out: Videopac C7051 Game Recorder.

The Videopac C7051 Game Recorder cartridge is a flash cart for Videopac and Odyssey2: a multicart with a flash memory chip inside. This means that you can decide yourself which games you put on it, which versions, in what order and which names you give them in the on-screen menu. It also means that you can add new games to it when they become available, or use this cart to test new games that you are writing yourself. All functions of the cart are selected with on-screen menus, it doesn't have any switches. It works on all Videopac, Odyssey2 and Jopac consoles, and it can be used with the Voice module too.

When you receive a new C7051 cart it doesn't contain any games, only the control program. To put games on the C7051 cart you'll need to connect it to a computer. A cable to do that is included. Also included are a .zip file with 273 games and a program for your computer to transfer games to the C7051. The memory chip of the C7051 has a capacity of 63 games. Check this list to see which Videopac and Odyssey2 roms are included in the .zip file: http://home.kpn.nl/rene_g7400/C7051_games-list.txt

This is what you'll get:

Hi Rene,

Cool!
I would get another if you could send along with the first, using the same shipping.

Good news for those who don't have a C7051 cart yet (and for those who want to buy more copies), I'm working on making a new batch.

Actually we havin serious problems to receive items outside of country. I received mine C7051 more than 4 months after buy it. I just lovin this cart, I love the C7050 but the C7051 is much better, more pratical, easy to load games, organize and play games. I just using it everyday and my poor english canīt describe how Iīm happy with it. Congratulations by this amazing cart. Smiley

Update: the Windows 8 USB-to-serial cable that I offer for the C7051 also works with Windows 10. The game transfer program VideopaX also works with Windows 10.

This are very good news. Thanks for the update. So my new laptop can come end of this year, after 13 years using my good old Toshiba...

I hope I will manage it... from Windows XP to Windows 10  Roll Eyes I think I am really retro.  Cheesy

The VideopaX program is not available for Mac, but Ted has made a tool called "O2sender" for Mac that also works with the C7051 cartridge.

Kill the Attacking Aliens by Soeren Gust is one of my favorite Videopac games, but since the game is 12k it is not supported by the C7051. I've now been able to convert this game to an 8k version. I only had to remove the Plus graphics and the scroll text of the title screen. (And rewrite large parts of the code.) Beside these two differences the new version looks and plays exactly like the original. I've sent it by email to everybody who has bought my C7051 cart, together with 5 other new games:

- Happy Bird (by Rafael Cardoso)
- Nice Ice (by Chris Read)
- Wildlife plus (by Rafael Cardoso, VideopacBelgium released version)
- Western+ (Videopac 14 with Plus graphics)
- Space Monster+ (Videopac 22 with Plus graphics)
