Kevtris is working on a FPGA based console system named Zimba 3000 or Z3K if you want Smiley

Among various systems it already support Odyssey 2. He said support for Odyssey 3 is a possibility.
So we could finally play a NTSC version of G7400.
It also have a build in voice module support.

Basically it will be a board that you plug a SD card and load the roms for supported systems, with a HDMI output and usb controllers (keyboard also will be supported, useful for Odyssey2/VideoPac).

I not sure yet, but it seems you could run original cartridges by cartridge adapter plugged on expansion port.
And the system us upgradeable, once it's out and a new core (system) is supported, you can load the new system easily as load new rom.

Z3k is aiming to support everything from Channel-F to Neo-Geo. Cheesy
