We are all in the same ... house ... at 112 Ocean Avenue

It seems...

You enter in the house ... in the dark.
You see only your flashlight.
You move left, right or forward.
You must find the Master key to open chests.
You must collect diamonds hidden in the chests.
There is also 4 different magic spells in the chests (4 different spells you can use against creatures).
In the dark, there is also 4 different evil creatures (strenght: 8, 10, 12 or 14).
Then you enter in fight mode.
You must roll the dice to fight the creature.
The dice indicates how much strenght the creature will lose.
Each time you roll the dice, the creature will advance one step toward you.
...
Many players are strangely died in this game.
Take care!

Ha ha!  :D Sounds interesting enough for me!
1 Videopac version please + both manuals if possible.
Just in case you also have 2 spare Videopac + cases to sell I please would want them, as I would need them for this game and the excellent game I got before.  ;)

Hopefully, we all have good skills, because Videopac/Odyssey2 owners are a endangered species.

May the Force be with us!  :D

All US buyers that wish to save on tracked shipping please wait to pay for the game and message me. I will be organizing a US shipping group for this by the end of the month on AtariAge.

When I see the US shipping group for Odyssey2 games, it seems to me, that it work well.

But when I see, how many especially Videopac games were sold, than I have the feeling, that Videopac dies again. For example Dark Dungeon. There were sold till now 31 Videopac games.  And now Videopac Amityville 12 pcs. and the wonderful Forbidden Lands only 20 till now. The preorder from Mean Santa for both systems are now at 19 pcs.

I think, the time when 2600connection sell 100 Wildlife games is over. That´s an evolution, that makes me really a little bit sad. I believe, that releases like Forbidden Lands, where a real artist make the cover is over. The artist must be payed, also the funny little golden keys. And that´s all only possible, when enough games were sold.

But there have Videopac/Odyssey2 again the same problem like in the eighties. But that´s all only my opinion.

But there is a substantial difference between the present day and those times. In the '80s, that was business. Philips do Brasil was an example, I always think of Night Commando, they simply put it on the market without any tests, I'm sure no one played this game before putting it on the market. I think your statements are beautiful, because you are honest and I think your concern is that the games stop being produced. For me this is not a matter of numbers, while I am alive I will be there. I think the most important thing is that people who buy the game are happy. I understand that there are people who would like to buy, but this may not be easy for everyone. There are people who prefer to buy popular titles (something like Pac Man, for example). As long as the publishers agree to release 10 copies we will be there. Sooner or later people will be able to play games differently. I have already said that anyone who wants roms, without bad intentions just ask. Fortunately I will never be a programmer as good as René or you would have new game every day. ;)

And don´t worry about Mean Santa, maybe Billy Kostovski save the day :D :D

I have only the fear, that maybe, some publishers, stop to release Videopac and/or Odyssey2 games, when they don´t sell enough.

I don´t know exactly how it works, but I think, that a publisher let maybe print the instruction manuals, the lables and the videopac plus backcovers in a print shop. And there he order not only 10 pcs. That were too expensive. So maybe, he let print 50 pcs. and sell only 20. So he pay all the money and sell not enough games, to get his money back. And that was only the paper work. The same also with the chips, cartridge and the rest.

I hope, I could explain it right, what I mean. Maybe, I am totally wrong and all is ok, what I really hope...
