So I've decided that since I've learned a lot since 2014 when I last attempted (and failed) to create a Mario-style game, that I thought I would try again. So here is the beginnings of another attempt. Use the second joystick to walk around and press Action to jump. Notice how long you press Action, the higher he jumps and if you're in a middle of a jump and you stop pressing action, he begins to go back down. Another thing of note is that what I have so far is only 467 bytes. Tested and works on real hardware.

I can't log into my website for some reason, so I'm leaving the code here for now.

George (as he's now called) needed a redesign. So I did. He now looks like this:

Added an enemy, coins, and coin counter. Once you get past the flying ostrich, the coin repeats over and over again because that's as far as I got. You can jump on top of the flying ostrich to kill him, or just jump over him.

Getting all excited about Golf Tournament made me decide to keep on Odyssey 2 programming again. I thought that Mouse in the House is really hard to do and make mazes for, so I chose to work on Super George again. Only this time, it's called "Bill and George," after the comic book I have been drawing since I was a kid. This is Bill. George will be dressed in black.

I added a life counter and moved the coin and life counter down to the bottom. I made it so you have to jump on top of the flying ostrich to kill it, not just jump and bump into it like before. The previous code I thought I did make that happen didn't. There's still just infinite coins after the ostrich. This is to test the life counter. Right now, the life counter isn't tested above 9. That's because I have to put less than 60 coins in the whole game so it doesn't go above 9.

This is good since the game will only have 4 levels in it (like the previous attempt I did.) For some reason O2EM likes to move things up a pixel, so the hole looks out of place a tiny bit on O2EM, but not on a real Odyssey 2.
