Brazilian documentary about retro videogames

I found this at atariage. The longest film, I ever saw about retro videogames.

Many about brazil Odyssey / Odyssey2 and Videopac. Too bad, that I don`t understand portoguese.

For example, many about Odyssey at 0:47,  great old Crazy Chase commercial at 1:10 and a running Turtle at 1:27

A MUST look !

This documentary was recently released. It was also presented at the same event where I gave the lecture and where our 1st Odyssey meeting happened. The commercials you see in the video will soon be available, but they are not my material, so I can not disclose it. Turtles was my favorite commercial so it was thrilling to review it.
Some cool curiosities of the documentary:
Milton Bonanno, manager of Philips do Brasil at the time explains that european Philips  wanted Philips do Brasil to adopt the name Videopac. But they thought (and were right) that the name Odyssey would have the greatest impact on our country.
Another cool curiosity is about the name "Come-Come" (eat-eat). Milton says they did not know how to choose the name of the game, so he asked the person who tested the games, what happened in the game. The person explained that it was a bug that walked through the labyrinth and eats, eats ... Then Milton said: this is the name of the Come-Come game.
During the 1983 UD (something like CES), Philips had the biggest booth of the 1200m² event and was the only booth where people could play.

Thanks for the explanation, Rafael. It is a great movie. I never saw "my" system in a movie so often.
Odyssey must had been really a great success in brazil.

I hope, to see soon the whole Turtles commercial. What I till now saw, is wonderful.

When you have time in the future, you can translate the movie for us with subtitles.  :D
