What is the difference between the Odyssey 2 and  Videopac versions, if any?

I have never found a difference in commercial releases. So I wondered if there was one here.

The only diferenc are the covers. Then you can choose the cover style that suits you best.  ;)
For information about the game write to Marc: videopac.is@live.be

Exactly. I think that some games, originally European, had to be rearranged for the American market. Stone Sling is, in fact, one of them, others are Acrobats and Samurai. Most of the European games that were released in Brazil and were not released in the USA, also had modifications, including Parker games.

What are the differences in game play?  I always enjoyed Smithereens and didn't realize there was a different variant out there.

The European version shows no scoring.

I think I found two bugs.

1) Some when you shoot Kamikaze it gives score, but does not count towards gaining missile.
2) If you hold fire (autofire) and press down on controller to fire missile your ship blows up and you lose life.

I'm using NTSC O2 if that matters.

Top score so far is around 400 for me.

Hi grips03,

Not sure if I understand correctly, but anyway:
1)  A missile is won for survival time has no relation to the number of destroyed Kamikazes.
2) I´ll check it, by now avoid to do it ;)

400 points is a good score 8) 8) 8)
