I know it is not a big deal, but I've always wondered if most of us here on the VP/O2 forum are folks that are from the height of VP/O2 fame (late 70's, early 80's), or if we have enough younger folks that came aboard the Odyssey train after it's time.

Just curious if anything else. Please be honest if you do this poll. It is just for fun, and to see roughly what age group we have here on the forum. If you want to post a personal not yourself, feel free to do so

Thanks.

P.S. I'm in the original group myself - I had this system in my teens! (thus I'm in the rough area of 39+).

I was born in 1970 and I'm 36, but ask me again on Saturday and I'll be 37  Smiley
I asked the wife for videopacs for my birthday, but she decided I needed to go out for dinner and shopping for new clothes instead  Undecided

I'm 35.  I believe my Odyssey 2 was manufactured in 1981 so I would guess it was a Christmas gift that year.  It sound about right, I would have been 9.  I asked my mom to dig up the pictures at Christmas time so hopefully I'll be able to confirm the date and have some cheesy picture's to post.

Wow, I'm surprised so far by the forum members posting here! Looks like me and one other person so far are 'old timers'. Guess I got mine before you (or maybe not)!!!
 Tongue

I'd have to check, but I am not 100% sure when I got my Odyssey2. I would guess 1980, as I had an RCA Studio II in 1978, and had that for at least a few years.

I am 16. (I think I am the youngest here.)  My Aunt bought an Odyssey 2 at a garage sale around 1999, or whenever the N64 was new.  I played that O2 for years as a kid whenever I was at her house, so did many of my cousins.

All right Sweersa! Nice to see some of the younger (compared to me) generation getting into the Odyssey2!

lol  I think I stand alone.  A lot of my friends raise eyebrows when I mention I have and play the Odyssey 2, even after I explain to them what it is.  The guys at Radio Shack didn't even know what it was, and they were way older than me! lol
